Pediatric Cancer
Survivor Picnic
a day to celebrate life, health & the hope for a cure
"BECAUSE UNLIKE CANCER, THESE KIDS ARE WORTH IT"
About the Picnic...
Each year the staff of Kentucky Children's Hospital get together and host the Pediatric Cancer Survivor Picnic. This event is a special day for all pediatric cancer patients from KCH (past and present) to take a break, and celebrate being a survivor! This is one day we get to give these children that they don't have to worry about receiving chemotherapy, getting poked with needles, or taking yucky medicine! Instead, they get to focus on sno-cones, face painting, games, prizes, and most importantly- just being a KID!
